Ray Liptak is the true “hybrid” member of the BMA team as he enjoys the double life as both Vice President of operations as well as Event Producer.
Ray shares the event planning duties with Vice President of Operations/Special Events, Elyssa Georgian, to produce all of our corporate events. He started working with BMA as the Events Production Manager in 1995 designing and implementing all aspects of event production including lighting, audio, staging, video and special effects, and secured his full time position in the summer of 2006.
In that new role, Ray was tasked with learning the internal facility logistics in addition to working directly with the clients from the inception of their events. The position of Event Producer was a logical shift as he worked closer with each client to learn more about the details of their business. This was a critical step as the division within BMA Media grew into a multi-event, large scale production and creative company.
Ray’s production experience has been developed through a variety of positions held traveling the country while working for multiple Cleveland based production companies throughout the last 28 years. In addition to Audio Crew Chief, Operations Manager and Audio Division Leader/Project Manager, he also enjoyed a short stint as a Company Co-Owner of Prism Entertainment Inc, a production management consulting firm responsible for producing events across the United States.
As if there is any free time for Ray, being a husband and father of two active boys, you might find him playing bass at a relatively unknown local establishment, which is his preferred way of letting his hair down (figuratively of course, if you know him!).
