In 1891, Henry Miller, along with 9 delegates, formed the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), then known as the National Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In 2016, LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group helped to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the IBEW and Miller in St. Louis, Missouri.
This celebration took place at the Henry Miller boardinghouse, which has been transformed into the Henry Miller Museum, and on the surrounding outdoor area. Labor Tools powered by BMA was able to produce a grand opening celebration and a ribbon cutting ceremony for over 500 international delegates.
For the festivities, which consisted of years of preparations, Labor Tools powered by BMA Media Group comprehensively organized every detail, from the invitations to food and beverage and the ribbon ceremony speeches to the table and chair rentals.
LaborTools powered by BMA was also able to staff the event. With traveling to a city and working with a large number of vendors, the BMA staff was able to execute all of the pieces and began set-up just days before the well-orchestrated outdoor event.
The Henry Miller Grand Opening was one of many events that LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group was able to organize during the 2016 IBEW Convention. The other events ranged from District social events to delegate-wide occasions.
