The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 82 of Dayton, Ohio recently celebrated its 100th Anniversary and to ensure the celebration was something the members, retirees and honored guests would never forget, LaborTools was called in to plan the entire event. LaborTools handled all aspects of the event including staging, audio and video, as well as entertainment, location selection and commemorative gifts. All attendees and union members will also receive a commemorative DVD and book chronicling Local 82’s unique history. There were roughly 1,000 attendees in attendance at the 100th anniversary. 

It was in the spring of 2013 when a team at BMA Media Group began working on a total redesign of two related construction trades publications, along with the logistics involved in developing and delivering a redesigned full-color unified publication to be called, The Labor Citizen.

Great Work Great Life is dedicated to promoting the Northwest Ohio region and providing valuable information about upcoming projects to traveling union members of the skilled construction trades. LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group and The Toledo Northwest Ohio Building Trades are coordinating this massive recruitment initiative.

It was two times the celebration on Saturday, May 16, as LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group celebrated our 20^th union celebratory event nationwide with the 125^th Anniversary of Toledo’s UA Local 50.

With over twenty celebratory event productions for local unions across America under our belt, there are no signs of slowing down for the events team of LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group.

While we love being able to explore new places and produce events across the country, there is always something special about being able to celebrate an organization in our own backyard.

First impressions can often times make or break how someone perceives an organization. In less than 15 seconds, the chance to influence someone may disappear because of an outdated image or theme.

Publishing a newspaper comes with unique challenges and pressure to put out the perfect product, especially when you are talking about taking on a 123-year-old institution like The Cleveland Citizen. Trust us.

Residents of Erie, Pennsylvania may have thought the Fourth of July came early this year as fireworks lit up the night sky above the Bayfront Marina this past Saturday.

But the nearly 800 guests gathered at the Bayfront Convention Center that evening were well aware of the cause for celebration: the 100th Anniversary of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 712 (Beaver, PA), an event that LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group planned and produced from start to finish.
